Candidates for this position can be located in either Mettawa, IL or Florham Park, NJ.Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. The Marketing Manager I/II, HCP will play a critical role in the launch of a therapy for Parkinsons Disease and reports to the Associate Director, HCP marketing. This person will lead the creation and execution of Now Approved content and all core in-office marketing materials for the field. This individual will be a strategic partner to our sales force working closely with our sales and sales training partners to develop and execute field communications for the personal promotion materials for the launch materials and support the launch meeting for a new therapy for Parkinsons. In addition, the Marketing Manager I/II will work in partnership with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, such as: Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Analytics and Performance Excellence (APEX), Legal, Field Operations, Field Sales, Customer Engagement, and Business Services teams, serving as the source of brand knowledge and delivery excellence. As a prominent member of the marketing team, this person must demonstrate strong competency in communication, strategic thinking and analytical skills to successfully execute against the brands strategic plans. Strong collaboration with the Integrated Brand Team and Sales Leadership Teams is essential in this role. Key Job Responsibilities - Develop Now Approved/In-Office HCP marketing materials that pull through the brand strategy, including field aids, leave behinds and digital selling tools
- Serve as the training liaison and deliver exceptional field force communication and engagement activities demonstrating strong collaboration with sales partners
- Build expert disease state and brand knowledge to serve as the teams expert on the competitive landscape
- Leads print management of all field materials
- Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to review and approve promotional materials
- Partner with APEX to gain insights and deep understanding of our customers
- Support and participate in business and marketing plans development
- Develop robust working relationships with key customers (both internal and external) through exceptional communication and partnership practices
- Bring innovative opportunities to differentiate brand and education providers
- Support development, in close partnership with sales training, of a robust sales training plan for Launch & POA meetings throughout the year
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple agencies and external vendors to plan for, prioritize, and execute brand tactics while managing budget to plan
- Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies (ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies) and applicable external regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Marketing experience with proof of building proficiencies in all marketing skills
Preferred Qualifications: - MBA preferred
- Minimum 3-5years of pharmaceutical industry experience required, sales or marketing experience preferred
- At least 12 years product management experience in direct-to-physician marketing preferred
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to internal and external customers, sales teams, and senior management
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Financial/budgetary experience
